  • Stake has gone ahead with a planned launch of its Stake.mx domain at the right time, as the country is preparing to co-host the 2026 World Cup
  • This is another opportunity for the Stake brand to move with precision into a high-value market at the right time
  • Stake.mx is bringing local players access to the Stake high-tech and mobile-first platform, offering a wide range of online casino games and sports betting options

Stake has expanded once again with the world-beating online casino and sportsbook releasing a brand new platform focusing on the Mexican iGaming market.

The launch of stake.mx is another opportunity for the company to push further afield in the Latin America dynamic and fast-growing market, with a recognizable global brand now offering advanced gaming and betting options to Mexican players.

Stake.mx launches ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup, bringing fresh opportunities to local sports aficionados

Stake prides itself on a cutting-edge technology, a wide-ranging content portfolio, and mobile-first experiences. The launch also comes at a time of fast-expanding demand for sports betting products, and especially ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which the country is co-hosting with the United States and Canada.

Commenting on the opportunity to scale the company’s presence in Latin America, Stake Director Jarrod Febbraio had this to add:

"We’ve built significant momentum across Latin America in recent years, including in markets such as Peru and Colombia, and Mexico represents a natural next step given its scale and long-term potential."

Febbraio similarly hailed the significance of Mexico playing a host to the upcoming event, noting that Stake is capable of launching "with precision" into high-value markets at the right moment.

Stake continues to expand globally, entering new markets as a licensed operator

"It allows us to establish a strong presence ahead of one of the biggest sporting events in the world and deliver a world-class experience for Mexican players," he added.

Besides Latin America, Stake has been significantly scaling its presence elsewhere in Europe, with the company securing a five-year license in Denmark in February.

The company has also expanded its integrity efforts through a partnership with the Esports Integrity Commission last year, with Stake continuing to support the integrity of electronic sports and sports in general.
