  • Integrity Compliance 360 delivers its ProhiBet and Bad Actor solutions to strengthen consumer and athlete safety
  • The solutions are deployed with OLG to help monitor for match-fixing as well as abusive behavior
  • OLG takes its role as the benchmark for safety and integrity in Ontario seriously, and has thus partnered with IC360 to strengthen this commitment

Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) has teamed up with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to deliver its sports betting integrity and regulatory compliance technology to strengthen consumer safeguards and ensure the integrity of the popular gaming segment in the Canadian province.

IC360 bolsters OLG’s match-fixing, abuse detection capabilities

The OLG, which is responsible for commercial lottery, land-based gaming, and select online gaming offerings through its own platforms, will leverage IC360’s proprietary Integrity Monitoring dashboard, which includes solutions such as ProhiBet and Bad Actor.

OLG is seeking to burnish its credentials as a hallmark for market integrity and consumer protection as well as responsible gambling, with IC360’s platform contributing in all three instances. Through the integration of the complete suite of solutions, OLG is now able to further detect suspicious betting patterns and protect the province’s sports betting market.

OLG Sr Director Digital Sports Product and iSports Product, Greg Sindall, has welcomed the opportunity to see IC360 join OLG and land it its solutions designed to strengthen core guardrails and help protect consumers.

"Maintaining the integrity of our PROLINE gaming platform is always paramount. IC360's robust monitoring and alert systems provide real-time feedback to ensure that our business and our players are protected. Additionally, ProhiBet flags prohibited players, preventing them from wagering on our events," Sindall noted.

OLG will benefit from the ProhiBet solution, which helps the organization monitor for prohibited bets placed by athletes, coaches, officials, and league administrators. OLG will thus be able to enforce wagering restrictions seamlessly while ensuring user privacy and data, the official press release details.

Commenting on the partnership, IC360 Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Schempp, further added:

"As the first government agency in the province to adopt our Bad Actor technology, OLG is proving itself as a true first mover—demonstrating how crown corporations can proactively protect sports participants and elevate market oversight. We are thrilled to welcome them into the ProhiBet and Bad Actor ecosystems."

Athletes will receive further protection thanks to the alliance

In the meantime, the Bad Actor technology is deployed to help minimize the level of harassment, threats, and fraud directed at athletes, coaches, referees, and sports organizations.

The solution allows stakeholders to come together and tag and keep profiles of abusive parties and take further action against them at a time when athletes and organizations on all levels are facing mounting pressure and abuse.
