The professional defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, Aaron Donald, has spent the last two seasons out of football.

In an exclusive interview for Casino Guru News, the NFL insider, reporter and analyst, Jason La Canfora, predicted when Donald is expected to return with the Rams and what are some of the challenges the NFL team is facing this season.

"Aaron Donald will be back with the Rams, certainly at some point in the first 4 to 6 Weeks of the season. This was one of the worst kept secrets in the NFL," the insider said early in the interview.

La Canfora pointed to Donald’s summer-long preparation, explaining: "Donald did not work out as hard as he was working out all summer long to eventually walk away without a contract with the rams."

The award-winning NFL reporter and insider revealed that he discussed the topic with the Rams’ head coach, Sean McVay, before training camp kicked off.

"This is about having Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett on the field together in January trying to win a Super Bowl," La Canfora explained.

The NFL expert also addressed the upcoming game between the Rams and the San Francisco 49ers, scheduled to take place in Australia, outlining the former team has been shy about this international trip.

Moreover, La Canfora stressed how busy the Rams schedule is the first five weeks this season.

"Like they’re going to the East Coast to play the Eagles. They’ve got four different kickoff times. They’re in four different time zones," he said.

Considering the busy schedule, different time zones and lots of traveling, La Canfora was skeptical about seeing Aaron Donald on the filed in Week 1 or making that trip to Australia.

"I do believe he’ll be on a pitch count early in the season. And I do believe that when it’s all said and done, Aaron Donald will be talked about at the end of this 2026 season as once again, a top-five defensive tackle in the NFL," La Canfora said in conclusion.
