Gamzix's Alexandr Kosohov: "We are ready for the oncoming changes AI innovation brings to iGaming"

Q: Alex, may we start with a simple question – where is Gamzix today in the iGaming industry? Are you happy with your most recent performance in 2022?

Looking back at our history, I can say that we’ve been through a lot. Started from a pandemic, now helping our teammates from Ukraine during the war. But, difficulties make us stronger. And even the fact that we started from it, gives a realization, there is nothing you can’t do, if you have a goal and dream.

Today, Gamzix has over 50 games in more than 1000 casinos. Over 50 professionals are working in the team from offices in 4 countries: Estonia, Ukraine, Cyprus and Poland.

Gamzix has already been nominated for 10 times and won two prestigious awards: SiGMA Industry Rising Star of The Year and the SlotsWise Awards Winner for One To Watch. That was a big step in the company’s development. But 2023 is here, and we have prepared even more for our players and clients. Gamzix will show impressive growth and performance!

Q: There is clearly going on in the regulated industry across Europe and North America in general. Is Gamzix prepared for frankly the monumental shifts in how regulators approach the gambling industry and its stakeholders today?

There are some things that we can’t control or affect. Having chosen the IGaming industry, Gamzix automatically signs under every change in the regulatory field. Rules are designed to protect consumers and maintain the integrity of the industry. And everything that affects the safety of consumers, immediately becomes our priority.

From the beginning, I decided that we will establish ourselves as a fair and transparent company. And we are sticking to our guns as our main goal remains unchanged — to become a #1 slot provider. In our latest big plans, we are aiming to enter markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America. For sure, it takes time, energy, and financial and technological spending. But, this is what we do on the way to our main goal.

Q: What is Gamzix’s particular strength in developing content for the online casino sector today, and what are some of your considerable strengths?

Our biggest strengths that help us to grow and create high-quality content are: our team, values, and promo tools.

Let’s start with the Team. Creating something unique requires individuals who share the same vision and values. It is through collaboration with these skilled professionals that such feats are achieved, and I feel immensely proud and grateful to have them around me.

The utilization of AI by game developers has opened new avenues for crafting lifelike characters, environments, and plots that leave an indelible impact on players. An immersive and engaging experience is precisely what iGaming aims to provide. And we are already planning to launch an AI slot in the near future, stay tuned!

Q: Could you share your outlook for 2023 with us and what the year holds for Gamzix?

In 2023, we are planning to enlarge our portfolio with various games. Of course, this is not just for the sake of good stats. The quality of slots, mechanics, design, and plots: everything will be better.

And, talking about marketing, we have a goal to become more recognizable among the players, partners and global community. In order to get there, we are planning to attend big exhibitions like SiGMA, CasinoBeats, IGB, ICE, and G2E. Gamzix will continue to develop rapidly both online and offline.

And, of course, we want to attract more specialists for cooperation to make Gamzix a place where people create new things and discover themselves.
