Available across Canada, Lotto 6/49 grants players a chance to win a range of prizes, including a Classic Jackpot that is always $5m, a Gold Ball Jackpot that starts at $10m and a Guaranteed Prize of $1m, among other mouth-watering wins.

The game's drawings take place on Saturdays and Wednesdays after 7:30 PST.

The winner is happy but still in shock after the $1m jackpot win

Recently, the Vancouver resident spoke to BCLC officials, sharing her excitement about the mouth-watering win.

Muldoe recalled the moment she initially saw the Lotto 6/49 $1m win.

"I was visiting family and when I saw the winnings in my PlayNow account, I thought it was a mistake," the lottery player remembered.

"I woke up my mom and then called my husband. They were shocked and excited," Muldoe added when speaking to lottery officials.

As usual, the fortunate winner was asked if she had any plans about the windfall.

The Vancouver resident said that while she considers buying a home and as "lots of exciting ideas," for the time being, she will try to keep things as they are now.

"I'm still in shock but it will be a good Christmas this year," Muldoe revealed in conclusion.
