Overall, five tickets won $1m prizes during the last draw, lottery officials confirmed, with a $2m prize sold in Virginia also the result of the latest draw. With odds of winning the Powerball set at 1 in 292.2m, winning the grand prize has always been a matter of incredible luck,

The current jackpot of $750m is one of the largest lottery prizes to have ever been offered by a game worldwide, with no guarantee that the jackpot will drop duringtonight’s draw.

Should someone win, however, they could be looking at a cashout value of $325m, after all applicable withholdings are applied. To win the prize, you need to buy a $2 ticket and then try to match five numbers between 1 and 69, along with a Powerball number between 1 and 26.

The most recent winners of the $1m and $2m prizes have all managed to secure the five-number bets, but they have missed out on the Powerball number, which proves crucial in scooping the grand prize.
