The Pennsylvania Lottery has more good news to share, as someone managed to secure a $2,000,000 payday from the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, October 21. While the person is not identified publicly, they bought their winning ticket in Bradford County.
The person matched 1, 21, 44, 50, and 57 and won the life-changing seven-figure prize. The player had the $1 Power Play option, which doubled his original win of $1,000,000, and is a worthwhile addition to Powerball tickets in most cases.
The Dandy Mini Mart in Wyalusing Borough, which sold the ticket, is going to also get its customary bonus for the win - $10,000. The player who won - whoever they may be - now has a year from the date of the draw to claim their winnings.
This is not the only great story coming out of the Pennsylvania Lottery in recent days, with another player securing a $4,000,000 payout from a scratch-off game in the Keystone State.
The player, who has not been identified yet, played the Ca$h Money scratch-off, a $50 ticket game, and won the top prize. The winner bought the ticket at Live! Casino Pittsburgh, located in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, and has one year to claim the prize as well.
The casino will also receive the customary bonus, amounting to $10,000, for selling the winning ticket.
