A player in Massachusetts has won it big, with the player scooping up $250,000 in prize money from the eponymous $250,000 Winter Winnings scratch-off ticket game.

The player managed to secure the largest amount offered by the scratch-off game by purchasing a $20 ticket at the Energy North gas station in Littleton, resulting in his prize.

The game was first introduced on October 14, 2025, and it has a pre-funded number of top prizes, with 39 total jackpots to be won. So far, there have been 19 wins, meaning that only 20 more jackpots can be won as of Monday, February 23.

This was not the only prize to have been won on that day, with another $100,000 scooped up by another lucky winner who played the $15,000,000 Colossal Millions game and won with a $30 ticket that was bought at the Xtra Mart in Worcester on Friday, February 20.

Another $100,000 from the same game was won on Thursday, February 19, with the ticket bought at a 7-Eleven. The Massachusetts Lottery also reported another big winner, $100,000 from the Mass Cash game, with the ticket bought at the Nb Shop Smart in New Bedford.

Jackpot stories have been recorded all over the country. Just recently in Illinois, a player won a $1.5m prize purse from the Cash Castle game. Meanwhile, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento, a player flipped a $2.50 bet into a $120,000 payout.
