Yggdrasil has expanded its acclaimed portfolio of YGG Masters partners, with the company adding another independent game creator, Lakka Studios.
The new partnership allows Yggdrasil to strengthen its developmentexpertise and build games that draw on cross-studio expertise, originality, and distinct signature styles.
Thanks to the new partnership, Yggdrasil has now grown its YGG Masters portfolio to 20 studios, with Lakka Studios’ original content already hailed for its standout designs, player-centric approach, and innovative bend.
Lakka Studios has welcomed the opportunity to be working with YGG Masters on what it described as an exciting step in the company’s journey, describing it as an "incredible" moment for the company.
"Yggdrasil’s support and technology provide the ideal foundation for us to bring our creative vision to life," the company concluded.
Lakka Studios will benefit from Yggdrasil’s acclaimed Game in a Box platform, which is designed to further streamline processes when developing new titles and leverage artistic creativity and technical affinity into powerful new games worthy of the YGG Masters family.
Yggdrasil Head of Masters, Zoe Bird, was similarly pleased to welcome the 20th studio to the acclaimed portfolio of games.
"The studio brings a familiar Nordic identity that complements the broad range of studios within our network. We have every confidence that Lakka Studios will quickly build a devoted following across our global operator partners," she said.
Only recently, Yggdrasil teamed up with Vyking, a prominent game aggregator, boosting the company’s original content’s reach.
