StarGames becomes sponsor of professional darts player Max Hopp

The leading online gambling brand that is a part of Greentube, StarGames, announced a new sponsorship agreement strengthening further its engagement with sports. The company confirmed Wednesday it inked a sponsorship deal with Max Hopp, the famous professional darts player from Germany.

Under the terms of the new sponsorship collaboration, StarGames was designated as the official partner of the professional player. Thanks to the deal, the company will support Hopp as its match jersey sponsor. Besides the jersey sponsorship, a statement released by StarGames confirms that the duo will collaborate for upcoming joint projects.

László Pados, StarGames' Brand Manager, shared his excitement about the new deal saying: "Max is one of the most talented darts players in Germany who has already seen it all but is still only 26 years old." He outlined that the company is delighted to team up with the professional player.

Moreover, Pados said that StarGames believes that Hopp will achieve further success in the future. Finally, the Brand Manager pointed out: "At the same time, his goals are very much aligned with those of StarGames.de: becoming Germany's #1 in our respective fields. We hope we can reach it together."

Famous as "Maximiser," Hopp is currently the only player from Germany that has won a PDC tournament. Although he is only 26 years old, Hopp is recognized for his achievements which include eight entries in World Championship.

Moreover, back in 2015, he won the Junior World Championship title, while in 2018, scored a victory at the German Open in Saarbrücken. Besides being a professional player, Hopp is also an author. Back in 2021, he published his biography "From 0 to 180."

Sharing his excitement, Hopp said that he is delighted to join forces with StarGames. "StarGames and I are united by our love for the game. Like in sports, there is always the opportunity to score a goal even if you might miss from time to time," he added. Finally, he thanked StarGames' team for the collaboration and predicted that it will bring exciting moments.

Earlier this month, Greentube expanded its US presence after securing an Online Gaming Service provider license in Connecticut. The company expanded its presence in the country after it was awarded the license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, effectively allowing it to team up with operators in the state.

The license in Connecticut marked an important step for the company since it was its third US license. Previously, Greentube had secured access to strategic markets such as New Jersey and Michigan.
