SIS to grow in West Africa via Joel Anyaegbu hire

The leading supplier of 24/7 betting services, catering to operators across the globe, SIS, strengthened its C-suite with a new appointment. The company has announced it hired the services of Joel Anyaegbu, a professional who brings a wealth of experience. Joining SIS, he was appointed to the role of Commercial Manager – West Africa.

As the title of the new senior-level position suggests, Anyaegbu is going to play a key role in the company's expansion in the region. He will be in charge of SIS' international growth, as well as commercial development, leveraging his knowledge and wide range of skills.

In his new role, Anyaegbu will be based in Nigeria. His appointment is expected to significantly strengthen SIS' presence while allowing the company to reach new business partners and seize emerging opportunities.

Serving as Commercial Manager – West Africa, Anyaegbu will be tasked with diversifying and extending the reach of the company's greyhound and horse racing products. He will focus not only on the retail but on the online vertical as well. Additionally, Anyaegbu will help promote other products offered by SIS.

Joe Andrews, SIS' Head of Sales – Africa, shared his excitement about the latest hire in a statement. "Joel’s proven commercial acumen within the African market will be a real asset to our plans of continued international expansion through the delivery of a set of products that will resonate with players," he said.

Andrews added that Anyaegbu will also help grow the reach of the company's racing offering, end-to-end Competitive Gaming Solution and live numbers draws across Africa. "We know that the bettors in the region are football mad and our esoccer product in particular will be a huge success," he explained in conclusion.

Sharing his excitement, Anyaegbu added: "The progress that SIS continues to make internationally is impressive, and I can’t wait to bring my industry knowledge to the table as the new Commercial Manager for West Africa."
