Eventus International is excited about the upcoming industry gathering, SBWA+ 2024, which will put the focus on Ghana as one of the fastest emerging and growing gaming markets in West Africa. The event will bring in Francis Ifie, CEO of BetBaba, who will talk about the region’s potential, and how Ghana in particular can play a crucial role in it.

SBWA+ comes at a time when the African market is beginning to shape up as an important destination for global gambling businesses that are looking to further explore and better understand what opportunities there are locally. Ghana will play a significant part in this, with Ifie bringing his fresh insights in front of interested audiences later this month on August 21-23 in Accra, Ghana.

As the host country of the SBWA+, speakers will discuss how Ghana is quickly rising to the occasion and becoming an important destination in the burgeoning African market as well.

"Africa is currently regarded as the ‘new frontier’ in the sports betting industry globally. Unlike other continents that have reached maturity in this sector, Africa’s sports betting industry is still evolving, offering untapped opportunities," Ifie said.

The SBWA+ 2024 will focus on a broader range of matters, as the event will seek to educate attendees about player fraud, which has been an increasingly challenging issue for sports betting companies regionally.

The event will explain how to reduce financial losses associated with fraud as well as how to future-proof business models so they remain resilient at a time of rapid growth experienced by the market.

The Sports Betting West Africa+ Summit, taking place from August 21-23, will seek to connect various experts who want to focus on growth in West Africa and are keen to expand locally.

The event hosts are confident that the West African market is the new frontier that international and local companies would want to explore up close as part of the 9th annual SBWA+ West Africa event now held out of Accra, Ghana.

The 2024 features dozens of speakers who will share their expertise and local experience, among them are SIS Betting Head of Sales Africa Joe Andrews, BestBet360 National Sales Manager Olanrewaju Wali, LiveScore Group Country Manager Oyindamola Michaels, and many others.

A detailed breakdown of all the available speakers and agenda can be traced to the event’s official page. Casino Guru News is an official media partner of SBWA+.
