SBC Summit North America 2023 smashes all records

The now-concluded SBC Summit North America2023 has been hailed as one of the most significant events hosted by the organizers from SBC Events. The event, which was held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey on May 9-11 saw tremendous attendance with 3,000 attendees arriving to visit the venue and benefit from panel discussions, networking opportunities, and more.

There were more than 300 distinguished speakers in attendance along with a dynamic exhibition area that featured more than 60 booths. Commenting on the significance of the gathering, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to say:

"The atmosphere at the Summit was absolutely electric. The spirit of collaboration was embraced wholeheartedly, with people exchanging ideas left and right! This wasn’t just our biggest event in North America; it was also our most engaging ever. What really excited me was seeing so many new faces this time around. It’s clear that the Summit is growing, attracting fresh perspectives and voices."

The event itself focused on many crucial for the industry topics, covering both the spot betting and iGaming markets in North America across verticals such as Compliance, Leadership, Player Protection, and more. There were many notable speakers and addressees who spoke and delivered keynote addresses and participated in interesting panel discussions.

Among the prominent figures to participate were American Gaming Association CEO and President Bill Miller, Entain Chairman Barry Gibson, Fanatics Betting and Gaming CEO Matt King, Rush Street Interactive Richard Schwartz, Caesars Entertainment Board Member Jan Jones Blackhurst, and many others.

The quality of the conference itself was "off the charts," Sojmark said, with the entire event proving a busy, roaring success. "Everybody is here to help each other out and bring the industry forward. The event has allowed us to be accountable for our goals by setting us up for success." Betting Hero CEO Cassie Brickman said commenting on the event and its significance.

There were other notable moments to explore as well. The SBC First Pitch North America contest saw Scrimmage, a retention tool setting out to boost results for the company by leveraging strong gamification in the sports betting space, won the silverware and the prize package of $55,000.

Meanwhile, the SBC Awards North America saw a number of companies recognized for their immense contributions to their respective sectors. Among the awardees were such companies as BetterCollective, BetMGM, FanDuel, Sportradar, and many other deserving and worthwhile winners. Among the many highlights of SBC Summit North America 2023 were the introduction of numerous networking events during the day, allowing industry heavyweights to break the ice and make connections.

Tribal Gaming Breakfast, African Americans in Gaming, and Global Gaming Women were just a few of the meetups helping industry leaders’ network and get to know each other. Casino Guru also attended SBC Summit North America.
