SBC North America is looking to distinguish some of the most innovative companies during its upcoming edition of the First Pitch start-up competition. This is the 3rd edition of the SBC Summit North America First Pitch which has now shortlisted five candidates as finalists and will offer the winner an exclusive prize pack of more than $55,000 worth of services to aid that company’s growth and expand its operations.
To win the First Pitch event, companies will have to provide compelling arguments before a jury as to why their product or firm stands out as the most innovative and deserving to be awarded the final prize. The First Pitch Competition is sponsored by Flatiron Gaming, and it will be hosted at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey on Wednesday, May10.
The event is part of the "Emerging tech and investment" track which takes a broader look at innovation in the gambling industry and what emerging solutions are bringing to the sector. The five finalists for the upcoming event include:
Commenting on the upcoming edition, Flatiron Gaming founder & CEO Ryan Faber said that his company was dedicated to teaming up with early-stage start-up companies to help them build the right infrastructure and grow.

Commenting on this opportunity, SBC VP of Growth and Strategy Sue Schneider welcomed the opportunity to make this event happen once again. Schneider said that SBC has always put great store by innovation when it comes to sports betting and iGaming practices, and the First Pitch competition gives the opportunity to support the "brightest minds" in the industry.
Schneider argued that the First Pitch competition is not only beneficial to the winner, as the format gives the companies exposure to potential clients and investors. The competition is an opportunity to improve companies’ communication skills and expand their networks.
