  • Welch will transfer his responsibilities to Williams until December 31, 2026, and will retire from the role after that date

The leading company that owns an indirect equity interest in and manages Station Casinos LLC, Red Rock Resorts, announced changes to its senior-level team.

Jeffrey Welch to retire at the end of 2026

Only recently, the company announced the upcoming departure of its Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Jeffrey Welch.

After holding the strategic dual-responsibility role for nearly a decade since June 2017, Welch is expected to retire at the end of this year.

Besides the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Welch was also on the Board of Directors of Station Holdco LLC between 2013 and 2016.

A statement released by Red Rock Resorts confirms that Williams is expected to join the company on or around September 8, 2026.

Assuming the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Williams will be tasked with Red Rock's legal, regulatory and compliance matters.

As Welch will be retiring from the role, he will ensure the smooth transfer of responsibilities. His last day in the role will be December 31, 2026.

Williams has a BA degree from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from Arizona State University.

For more than 30 years, he has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he has significant experience in the legal vertical, helping solve complex commercial litigation, high-stakes administrative proceedings and cases related to catastrophic personal injuries.

Throughout his extensive career, Williams helped found Campbell & Williams, a company described as a litigation boutique.

In March last year, Williams was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor that only the top 1% of trial attorneys in the United States reach.

What's more, for more than 20 years, Williams has held an AV "Preeminent" ranking by Martindale-Hubbell, an achievement that is a testament to the highest legal skill and ethical practices rating.

Recently, Red Rock Resorts reported steady Q4 and 2025 results.

Frank Fertitta III, Red Rock Resorts' Chief Executive Officer, spoke about the latest senior-level transition.

"On behalf of the entire organization, I want to thank Jeff for his leadership and contributions that have positioned us for continued success, and to wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement," he explained.

"We are looking forward to welcoming Colby, a longtime and trusted advisor to the Company and to me. His successful and impressive legal track record and his intimate familiarity with our organization will ensure a seamless transition," Fertitta explained in conclusion.
