  • The game draws from the crash-style gameplay to create fresh experiences
  • Players can adjust the risk and potential payouts of the game

Pragmatic Play has expanded its online casino portfolio once again, with the acclaimed supplier focusing on its Araade Portfolio in the latest push with the Mines+ title.

Mines+ plays out on a five-by-five grid, and it focuses on a fast-paced experience that has become synonymous with modern-day gamers. The game is based on the traditional gameplay, where you need to reveal hidden squares to see if you get a diamond or trigger an explosion.

Inspired by crash games, infused with nostalgia

With each new diamond revealed, players stand to gain a bigger payout for the round. Players are also free to cash out at any point they want to. Pragmatic Play Chief Operating Officer Irina Cornides weighed in:

"Mines+ is an exciting addition to our growing range of arcade games, offering fun and simple mechanics with adjustable volatility and quickfire gameplay."

Emulating the crash-style mechanic, Mines+ is a more reflective experience where you can take your time before making a decision, as opposed to sitting at the edge of your chair, hesitating over whether to press "eject" before your aircraft goes up in flames.

Players are in control of the experience

Players can further customize the experience and set the payout depending on how many mines they want to feature in the round, anything between 1 and 24. The round could be played automatically, or players can manually select what fields to open.

All told, Mines+ is a worthwhile addition to the library, while reimagining a popular mechanic and incorporating it into nostalgic gameplay.
