Playson, one of the most impactful iGaming developers, has appointed a new VP of Commercial Partnerships, with Denys Koshel stepping into the position; the company announced in a press statement shared with Casino Guru News.
Koshel’s appointment comes at a time when Playson is looking to deliver stronger and more unified commercial support for its global operator network and continue to grow its offering and footprint.
Koshel is not a random pick either, and he has been with the company for 11 years now, serving as its Head of Emerging Markets most recently, but he has also held other positions within the Playson hierarchy.
Among those were Commercial Analytics Lead, leading to a strong understanding of the businesses facets and channeling them into concrete results across the company's ecosystem.
This is a newly-created role that better reflects the company’s commitment to its partners, but also a realization that further success is predicated on bringing the right people into specific positions within the business.
In his role, Koshel will report directly to the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ben Wood, and the pair will work to provide partners with more consistent, data-led and responsive support across markets.
Koshel will help establish clearer communication, stronger campaign coordination and faster decision-making across the board, as well as deliver targeted commercial recommendations, the company added in its press statement.
Wood has welcomed the new position and the appointment of Koshel in it.
Denys’ appointment as our first VP of Commercial Partnerships marks an important step in the continued evolution of Playson’s Commercial organisation. This transformation is ultimately about improving how we support our clients, bringing our commercial capabilities closer together to provide operators with more connected, insight-led and business-focused partnership support," he argued.
For his part, Koshel was similarly pleased with the opportunity, shifting his ample company and sector expertise into a single position designed to boost Playson’s commercial growth and standing with partners and in competitive and complex markets.
"By combining market knowledge, data, AI-driven insights, promotional planning and operational discipline, while continuously optimising our internal processes through AI adoption and automation, we can help partners make better decisions, launch stronger initiatives and get more value from Playson’s portfolio," he noted.
Not a month ago, Playson launched a new promotional campaign that seeks to award millions of euro to players across the studio’s global partner network. With a €25,000,000 prize pool, BLASTS & RACES, is back with more than double the award amount available during the previous iteration of the promotion.
