Playson, a recognizable digital entertainment supplier, powering iGaming operators across the globe with content and games, announced it achieved a major milestone in Latin America.
On Thursday, the company confirmed it secured a business-to-business (B2B) gaming supplier license in Peru.
The license represents a landmark accomplishment for Playson, and it reaffirms its plans for further growth and expansion on a global scale.
Back in February this year, Peru became the latest LatAm country to start regulating online casino gambling.
Playson's B2B gaming supplier license, confirms that the company has met all of the regulatory requirements set by Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR).
What's more, the recent milestone has grown the company's portfolio of licenses.
The B2B supplier license in Peru comes in addition to Playson's licenses in Singapore, Greece, Romania and the UK.
Tamas Kusztos, Playson's CCO, commented on the topic in a press release.
"As we seek to bring more engaging experiences to players in new markets, obtaining a license in Peru is a significant strategic move," he revealed.
Finally, Kusztos pointed out: "The market stands out as one of the most promising in the LatAm region and we look forward to establishing a prominent position in the country."
Kusztos was among the experts who played a key role in the process that ultimately led to Playson's B2B license in Peru.
Other execs who also helped navigate challenges and contributed to this strategic process include Martyna Scieszka, the company's Head of Compliance, as well as Felicia Andronic, Playson's General Counsel.
Although Playson now holds a license in Peru, the company needs to obtain certifications and ensure technical compliance prior to launching its products in this important market.
Still, the company confirmed its intention to grow in the country exponentially, boosting the offering of gambling operators.
Last month, Playson expanded its Swedish footprint thanks to a deal with Premier Gaming, a recognizable gambling operator in the European country.
Per that deal, the company agreed to deliver some of its most popular and fan-favorite games.
Before that, Playson grew the reach of its casino games thanks to a deal in Spain with Luckia Gaming Group.
Currently, Luckia is recognized as a trusted and leading operator in the country that offers engaging games.
Per that deal, Playson brought hit titles, including Royal Coins 2, Fire Coins and Diamonds Power, among others, to customers of the operator.
