Ovie Doro joins Scientific Games as SVP Data, Analytics and AI

The leading provider of lottery technology, games and solutions, Scientific Games, confirmed a new senior-level appointment.

On Monday, the company revealed it selected Ovie Doro, an executive with significant experience, for the role of Senior Vice President of Data, Analytics and AI.

The expert will help lead the expansion of the SG Analytics group

Assuming the strategic position, Doro will play a major role in the expansion of Scientific Games' enterprise analytics practice, SG Analytics group.

SG Analytics focuses on combining experience, business intelligence tools, insights and data to help improve the company's lottery products and services.

The successful work of this group plays a major role in decision-making at Scientific Games and improves the performance of various products.

Appointing a new Senior Vice President of Data, Analytics and AI, the company advances its strategy to leverage AI and data insights to navigate the development of its technologies, including lottery games and ultimately increase player experiences.

At the same time, Scientific Games' strategy enables it to deliver measurable, ROI-driven value for its growing portfolio of partners, which in turn can optimize their retail and online offering.

The SVP of Data, Analytics and AI has solid experience

Holding the role of Senior Vice President of Data, Analytics and AI, Doro will report to Scientific Games' Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer, Carrie Galvin.

Moreover, he will collaborate with managers and leaders focusing on product, sales, technology and operations.

Galvin spoke with excitement about Doro's appointment, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Doro's appointment strengthens our ability to translate data into action and value for our customers," she said.

Finally, Galvin pointed out: "His experience building analytics capabilities that deliver real-world business outcomes will help us better serve lotteries through smarter products and performance insights."

The executive praised Doro's extensive experience, adding that it will be exciting to see an executive of his rank support Scientific Games' growth.

Throughout his career, Doro held a range of senior-level roles.

Overall, he brings more than a decade of experience, having held important positions at AB InBev, Walmart and Jet.com, among other leading companies.
