Oddin.gg, one of the leading suppliers of esports betting odds, has made another commitment to the segment’s integrity by joining the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), a move designed to strengthen the accountability and transparency of competitive video gaming at a time of heady expansion and robust demand for betting products in the ecosystem.

Oddin.gg becomes the latest company to strengthen IBIA’s monitoring capabilities, with the latter organization expanding both its geographical as well as technological reach. IBIA consists of more than 50 companies and 125 leading betting operators, among which are already other esports-focused companies, as the association has recognized the importance of the segment as well as the pitfalls of falling victim to match-fixing.

Oddin.gg Vlastimil Venclik was excited to see his company become part of one of the most influential monitoring and integrity groups in betting. Esports betting also aligns with the global ambition to keep competitions clean and free of manipulation, Venclik noted.

"As we expand our operations in key markets like the United States, being part of IBIA’s robust monitoring network will enhance our capabilities in safeguarding the integrity of our esports betting products. This collaboration underscores our dedication to providing a safe and fair betting environment for our partners and their customers," Venclik added.

IBIA CEO Khalid Ali was welcoming of the opportunity to see the association grow and expand with more members, specifically those that specialize in alternate verticals that are nevertheless driving serious interest. Esports match-fixing has been considered a criminal offense in places such as Australia with local authorities taking a dim view of the practice and going after players and ring leaders as if they were real criminals.

"Through our world-leading betting integrity network, we will work in close collaboration to protect the esports betting products and services offered by Oddin.gg to its sportsbook partners," Ali commented.

IBIA has not relented in expanding its global footprint, with the organization showing zeal for growth in Latin America and the United States, specifically through a partnership with IXUP. Recently, IBIA similarly teamed up with Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gaming Authority.

For its part, Oddin.gg has also been selected as the official odds data partner for PGL, and the company’s first Counter-Strike 2 Major event. Similar to IBIA, Oddin.gg also gained entry into Colorado, with the blessing of the state Division of Gaming, as esports is becoming a more serious and pertinent aspect of the betting experience.
