The acclaimed developer of online casino games, Octoplay, has expanded its content footprint in Europe by teaming up with leading Swedish sports and casino operator, Svenska Spel, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.
The partnership allows Octoplay to rapidly deploy its games with the brand and reach even wider audiences in the Nordic market, tapping into Svenska Spel’s extensive player base.
This partnership already consolidates the supplier’s local presence and adds to a growing portfolio of jurisdictions and brands with which Octoplay is already working.
Octoplay is licensed in some of the biggest European iGaming hubs, including the United Kingdom, Malta, Romania, Greece, Slovakia, Denmark, Italy, and naturally – Sweden. Not only that, but the company also holds a license in Ontario, Canada.
Commenting on this fresh opportunity to take the company’s games on the road, Octoplay Director of Business Development, Ralitsa Georgieva, said that Svenska Spel Sport&Casino makes for an important part, contributing to Octoplay’s overall expansion strategy.
"By partnering with market leaders like Svenska Spel Sport&Casino, we continue our commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences to players across regulated markets," she added.
As to Svenska Spel Sport& Casino, the company’s Head of Online Casino, Niklas Örtbrant, has welcomed the opportunity and said that the addition of Octoplay would be another chance for the brand to enhance its portfolio and deliver outstanding content to players. He also praised Octoplay’s titles and work.
"Their track record in regulated markets and commitment to quality made this partnership a natural choice for us," Örtbrant concluded. Octoplay has not just been pushing into new jurisdictions.
The company has similarly been working on bespoke experiences and games for partners. In October, Octoplay confirmed that it had developed a third bespoke game for Flutter Entertainment’s brands PokerStars, Sky Vegas, Paddy Power and Betfair.
Octoplay also launched its products and portfolio in Italy in September with the help of Microgame.
The supplier also teamed up with Kindred Group earlier this year, providing the now FDJ-owned gaming giant with its unique content and gaming options.
