Monaco's premium entertainment, leisure and casino destination, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer resort, announced a new senior-level appointment. Earlier this week, the Group confirmed it hired the services of the finance expert Vincent Bouvet. Joining Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, he was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The appointment, the Group confirmed, comes after Yves de Toytot, who serves as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, announced plans to pursue a career outside of the company. Bouvet's appointment is effective as of Monday, April 17, 2023, still, the Group said that Toytot will remain with the company during a "common transition phase," before leaving it.
In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Bouvet will be in charge of strategic processes related to the company's growth and financial well-being. Taking this role, he will report to Albert Manzone, who is currently holding the position of Managing Director.
Stéphane Valeri, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group's Deputy Chairman, shared his excitement in a statement released via LinkedIn. He thanked Toytot for his dedication and efforts. Moreover, Valeri acknowledged Toytot's dedication to the company over the last 25 years and pointed out that he held strategic financial roles and helped the company grow significantly.
Speaking about Toytot, the Deputy Chairman added: "His commitment to the Société des Bains de Mer has also led him to successfully represent the latter in various bodies and subsidiaries, and manage important financial files and transactions." Finally, Valeri added: "I welcome and wish Vincent Bouvet every success in his new role at Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer."
Bouvet's appointment marks a strategic move for the Group. He brings extensive experience spanning decades. Throughout his professional career, Bouvet held multiple senior-level roles within the financial vertical. This helped him accumulate wide and extensive experience as a part of globally recognized companies.
The new CFO's professional background includes two decades with Sodexo Group. During his tenure with the company, he held senior-level positions such as Financial Director for Central Europe overseeing the company's restaurant vouchers activities.
The financial expert's extensive background with Sodexo includes a Financial Director position for Brazil, overseeing the company's food services too. By becoming a part of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, as CFO, Bouvet will leverage his experience and expertise to help support the company's growth and provide strategic guidance for its expansion.
