The leading entertainment resorts operator in North America, Mohegan, enjoys strong third fiscal quarter results.

This week, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority released details regarding the financial performance recorded during the third fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2026, posting strong revenue and record quarterly performance of Mohegan Digital.

Net revenue in Q3 up by 3.1% year-over-year

Per the new report, Mohegan's net revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2026, hit $450.6m, a figure that suggests a 3.1% year-over-year increase.

Income from operations during the latest trading period increased by 8.0% year-over-year to $79.1m, while net income for the period was $296.0m.

Adjusted EBITDA recorded during the third fiscal quarter was $101.1m, signaling a 7.5% increase when compared to the same period in 2025.

In a press release, Mohegan explained that the latest results were "primarily driven by record quarterly performance to date by Mohegan Digital, strong slot results at Mohegan Sun, and robust demand supporting growth in non-gaming revenues, including food and beverage and hotel operations, across both Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Pennsylvania."

During the third quarter of 2026, the company completed the sale of the Connecticut Sun WNBA franchise for approximately $300m.

The latest results highlight a positive growth trajectory for Mohegan and come after the company posted strong second quarter fiscal results earlier this year.

The results are a testament to the company’s continued strength

Joe Hasson, Mohegan's Chief Operating Officer, addressed the newly released financial results, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Our quarterly financial results demonstrate the continued strength of our business and our team's ability to execute," he said.

Ari Glazer, the company's Chief Financial Officer, added: "The successful closing of the sale of the Connecticut Sun WNBA franchise was a remarkable step toward executing our long-term strategic priorities."

A breakdown of the $450.6m in net revenue reported during the third quarter shows a significant increase in the company's digital operations.

In total, Mohegan Digital's revenue soared by 16.3% year-over-year to $78.5m.

On the other hand, Mohegan's domestic resorts posted $310.1m in net revenue, up by 4.3% when compared to the same period in 2025.

In contrast to the aforementioned increases, the company's international resorts posted $66.8m in revenue, down by 11% year-over-year.

Mohegan attributed this result to "lower gaming revenue resulting from an adverse swing in table hold in the current versus prior year's quarter."
