The gaming and betting operator that owns and operates BetRivers, Rush Street Interactive (RSI), announced it joined forces with Mike Missanelli, the famous Philadelphia radio sports talk host. On Wednesday the company revealed that Missanelli was appointed brand ambassador under an exclusive brand and content deal.

In a statement released on September 7, 2022, Richard Schwartz, RSI's CEO, acknowledged that undoubtedly Missanelli is an icon in the sports scene in Philadelphia. Moreover, he pointed that that RSI is excited to have the famous sports host join its growing team of brand ambassadors and podcast hosts for BetRivers.

Last but not least, Schwartz said: "We know bettors are going to love his passionate personality and seasoned sports tips which in turn will make their betting experiences on BetRivers.com even more rewarding and fun."

Sharing his excitement, Missanelli added: "Joining the BetRivers team lets me share my love for Philadelphia sports in new ways and I really look forward to providing my insights to bettors at BetRivers here in my home state and in RSI markets throughout the country."

The company revealed that he will appear within the sportsbook's network but also participate in external activations such as TV and radio ads.
