Light & Wonder, a global distributor of iGaming content, has formed a new alliance with ReelPlay, which will enable the latter to deploy its content with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC). This will be the first time ReelPlay has had its titles listed with the BCLC, the companies reported in a press release shared via email.
Moving forward, ReelPlay will bring a number of its distinct titles, among which are Hypernova Megaways. Hypernova will be the first title to launch in regulated markets with BCLC. There will be more options coming later on, of course. ReelPlay is keen to present players who have access to BCLC-operated iGaming platforms with a wide variety of highly rewarding, fun and engaging games across the board.
Hypernova Megaways was originally designed in 2018, and it has been one of the most successful titles by the companies ever since. Light & Wonder and ReelPlay have worked together in the past in a number of regulated iGaming markets, and their expansion of this collaboration with BCLC is a clear sign of the relationship’s success.
Light & Wonder Digital Partnerships Director Steve Mayes was happy with the ReelPlay portfolio and quality of products. He noted that Light & Wonder has worked with ReelPlay for many years now, and that expanding distribution solutions to the BCLC was a natural continuation of the pair’s collaborative efforts.
"We look forward to future ReelPlay releases across our network," Mayes said. ReelPlay CEO David Johnson was similarly happy with the opportunity to see the company’s flagship Hypernova Megaways hit home with players in North America and with the BCLC in particular.
"ReelPlay is very excited to see the game arrive in another regulated market via our partners at Light & Wonder and expect the tri-party relationship to really flourish after this debut release," Johnson concluded.
Light & Wonder has had some impressive distribution capacities brought on by its dedicated OPENGAMING platform which now has more than 3,500 games from leading operators across the globe - notwithstanding the company’s own in-house titles.
