Kambi Group continues to grow its footprint in Latin America with the company committed to expanding its clout in the region. The latest move involves Eyas Gaming, which will see the two companies enter a long-term sports betting agreement and launch of the Lance! Betting alliance that covers the popular Brazilian football media site that will now transform itself into a sportsbook.
Operated and owned by Eyas Gaming, the football betting site will now become a fully-fledged sportsbook bolstered by Kambi’s advanced sports betting platform.
Eyas Gaming is also a strong local player not only because it has more than 15 million active users across its media, but also because it has won backing from the Gauselmann Group and is poised to be one of the most significant players in the fast-evolving sports betting market in Brazil. Kambi CEO and Co-founder Kristian Nylén commented on this new opportunity and said:
"It is a pleasure to have put pen to paper on this agreement with Eyas Gaming, an operator whose management team boasts clear expertise and a passion for sports betting that mirrors our own."
He welcomed the agreement and collaboration between the two companies as an opportunity to enhance Kambi’s own presence in the region and ensure that it brings cutting-edge solutions to a property of significant clout and presence.
Eyas Gaming CEO Adam Joseph was similarly excited about the opportunity to see the Lance! Betting brands take this turn in the country and become fully-fledged and dedicated sports betting operators rather than just media.
"Kambi’s track record in Latin America and proven suite of high-performance technology made partnering with them a natural choice," Joseph said. Kambi Group has also been working with other companies in the region and beyond.
The group strengthened its ties with LeoVegas and the latter’s sportsbook, signing an extended partnership to collaborate with the prominent brand. In the meantime, Brazil is a particularly important market for operators and suppliers.
In fact, SBC Events has announced a new event on the calendar with SBC Summit Rio 2024 now scheduled for April. The event will have more than 2,000 delegates who will discuss the evolving nature of the market and the opportunities therein.
