Julia Weygandt joins Continent 8 as Head of Client Growth and New Business

The supplier of leading IT solutions, catering to the online sports betting and iGaming industry across the globe, Continent 8 Technologies, continues to expand its C-suite.

On Tuesday, the company announced it hired the executive with more than 20 years of experience in gaming, entertainment and technology, Julia Weygandt.

Former Tornado Games exec assumes the role of Head of Client Growth and New Business

Joining Continent 8 Technologies, the former Tornado Games executive will serve as the company's Head of Client Growth and New Business.

In her new role, Weygandt will be based in Malta and will be tasked with strategic initiatives focusing on customer growth.

At the same time, Continent 8 Technologies' Head of Client Growth and New Business will oversee new growth opportunities in markets across the globe, complementing the company's expansion plans.

Weygandt will collaborate with Continent 8 Technologies' Practice Leads and Sales team, and she is expected to play a vital role in the company's future.

In November, the company promoted David Brace to the AWS lead role.

The appointment reaffirms the company's dedication to delivering exceptional value and growth

Overall, Weygandt has more than two decades' experience in the entertainment and gaming verticals.

As a proven leader with a track record in commercial strategy, she has accumulated solid knowledge after overseeing strategic partnerships.

Before joining Continent 8 Technologies, Weygandt held a number of C-suite roles at recognizable companies such as G Games, Tornado Games, as well as GAMOMAT, among others.
