The newly announced SBC Summit Americas has elicited very strong support from industry leaders, who have thrown their weight behind the event, hailing the format as a much-needed opportunity for industry stakeholders in North, Central, and South America to come together and network across a single, cohesive platform that helps address the cumulative and individual challenges the gaming industry faces throughout the region.
The new event, set to take place in Fort Lauderdale on May 13-15, 2025, is a unique opportunity for industry leaders from these broader geographies to come together, learn from each other’s expertise and experience and build on solutions that address regional problems but also throw bridges and establish mutual opportunities for growth.
Among the leaders to hail the new format were Apuesta Total, a Peruvian operator, which had this to add on behalf of its CEO, Gonzalo Perez:
"I always enjoy a change of scenery, and Fort Lauderdale is a fantastic choice. Many people like to turn conferences into extended weekends, so I’m certain attendees will appreciate the city’s beautiful beaches and vibrant atmosphere."
Kinectify CEO Joseph Martin was similarly pleased with the opportunity to see this new format take shape, adding:
"SBC always puts on great events. They have deep connections within our industry and prioritize the right elements to optimize our experience. I'm excited about this new show covering both North and South America. Gaming companies operating in multiple markets across the two continents now have a single event focused on the entire Americas region. I look forward to another outstanding SBC event experience in Fort Lauderdale."
Other prominent industry insiders included FanDuel CEO Amy Howe who focused on hailing the successes achieved by the predecessor event, SBC Summit North America, which will now continue to scale by attracting an array of legislators, regulators, operators, and tech experts in its reimagined format.
SBC Summit Americas received praise from Betsson Managing Director for North America Marina Bogard who spoke of how the gabfest creates opportunities for companies with diverse geographical interests to come together and harness unique opportunities.
Optimove VP of Revenue Motti Colman was similarly pleased with the opportunity to attend this reimagined format, arguing that it would achieve tremendous scale and firmly embed itself as a "great platform for expanded opportunities."
