The global provider of gaming, digital and financial technology solutions, powering leading lottery operators, IGT, continues to grow its North American footprint.
On Monday, the company announced it joined forces with Western Canada Lottery Corporation, agreeing to deploy additional video lottery terminals (VLTs) across Saskatchewan.
Per IGT’s announcement, its subsidiary, IGT Canada Solutions Limited, emerged as the winner of a competitive VLT procurement process by WCLC.
As a result, the company will supply an additional 720 Sierra27 VLTs this year, powering WCLC’s offering in Saskatchewan.
Renowned for its versatility, IGT’s Sierra27 VLT combines serviceability and comfort.
The VLT offers two HD 27-inch screens, as well as a 13.3-inch dynamic player panel that has dual bash buttons, as well as a wireless inductive charger.
High performing games designed specifically to match the preferences of players across Canada power the library of games available via the Sierra27 VLT.
Such titles include hits like Cash Climb, Tiki Tiki Tiki Mayhem, Garden of Hesperides and Big City 5’s Diamond, among others.
The deal with WCLC further propels IGT’s presence in North America.
What’s more, the agreement marks the second consecutive year the company emerges as the winner of a competitive VLT procurement process led by WCLC.
Chad Helm, IGT’s VP of Sales, Canada and Oregon, spoke about the importance of the new alliance.
"As the leading VLT supplier in Canada, IGT is uniquely positioned to help WCLC enhance venue performance and player experiences with proven products and solutions backed by decades of market experience," he explained in a press release.
Moreover, Helm pointed out: "This significant agreement with WCLC for 720 additional IGT Sierra27 VLTs reinforces the strength of our outstanding collaboration in providing games that excite and engage players."
Eric Karmark, WCLC’s Vice President, VLT Gaming and Operations, was similarly excited.
"WCLC selected IGT through a competitive procurement process, and these additional Sierra27 VLTs will support our venue network with hardware and content designed for the Canadian market," he explained.
Finally, Karmark acknowledged that IGT is a longstanding supplier for WCLC and the company is looking forward to the success the new collaboration is going to bring.
