A new event is on the map with DigitalPlay Summit among the latest industry opporutnities to look forward to, courtesy of the Indian Gaming Association and iGaming Business. This is a significant chance for stakeholders from the commercial and tribal gaming sectors to throw bridges and exchange know-how and expertise.

The new trade show will be hosted from April 10 – 11 and take place at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention in Anaheim, California, with the conference focusing on the future of the North American gambling industry and the role that tribal gaming must play in it.

The event already lines up a range of prominent stakeholder names, with the likes of GeoComply, Everi, and AGEM among the confirmed names for the gathering. Picking the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention is no chance thing either, as the event is the longest-running gathering dedicated to the tribal gaming industry in the United States.

The DigitalPlay Summit will now further expand on this format to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that have been brought over to the industry in the past years.

As an immediate benefit, the two events happening at the same time would allow for broader and more impactful discussions, reuniting top brass from across multiple markets, and paving the way for a stronger tribal gaming industry, as well as an overall strengthening of the sector.

Commenting on this opportunity, Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. welcomed the opportunity to see DigitalPlay Summit arrive as part of the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention.

"By creating a dedicated section to focus on iGaming and sports betting, we’re taking a proactive stance and inviting the world’s leading providers and operators to join us in an exciting evolution," Stevens noted. He also explained that tribal operators were promoting self-sufficiency through advancing gaming and other forms of economic development and would continue to do so.

An important aspect of the event would be the award-winning Consumer Protection Zone, which won Clarion Gaming the Casino Guru Awards 2024 accolade in The Most Ethical Approach to Marketing, and is a clear testament to the industry’s growing interest and awareness for responsible gambling.

As to the event itself, it will feature expert insights and knowledge exchange, networking opportunities, and a range of topics covering the entire iGaming ecosystem, with the primary focus on the North American market, yes, but also touching on Europe as well.
