As the lumbering giant that is the Brazilian sports betting market shifts slowly into motion, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) is preparing for an influx of regulated sports betting markets. To this end, the association has partnered with Yolo Group, a globally renowned operator of sports betting and gaming brands, and notably Sportsbet.io, which will now be part of IBIA’s efforts to stem the tide of corruption in sports and enhance the organization’s monitoring capabilities.

IBIA prides itself on collaborating with companies from all major markets, which allows it to flag issues quickly and efficiently with certain competitions, based on betting patterns and outcomes. The data is fed by partner operators who have a very strong motivation to ensure that sports are kept free of manipulation, fraud, and corruption.

Commenting on this new expansion of IBIA’s monitoring capabilities and partner network, CEO Khalid Ali said: "I am delighted to welcome Yolo Group to the association. Yolo Group’s decision to join IBIA demonstrates the company’s desire to utilize the best integrity protection available globally for its sports betting product and further expands IBIA’s leading integrity monitoring network."

IBIA and Yolo Group will hew closely together and make sure that relevant data is promptly submitted and processed. IBIA has a strong track record of tracking suspicious betting activity with the help of its operators, and, as the Brazilian market opens up, there will be an influx of such events.

Yolo Entertainment CEO, part of Yolo Group, Matthew D’ Emanuele was also welcoming of the news, arguing that betting integrity is one of the core tenets at Yolo Group, and the decision to join IBIA clearly demonstrates that. D’ Emanuele similarly acknowledges the challenges that the new launch will bring in but at the same time he hails the opportunity to collaborate with IBIA in eliminating potential threats.

IBIA is a significant authority having teamed up with 50 companies and over 125 sports betting brands across the world. The organization’s forays into North and South America are fairly new, but they are indicative of the association’s commitment to making sure that it stays on top of sports betting integrity in emerging and especially highly promising markets.
