Iain Hutchison joins Huddle as SVP of Business Development

The fast-growing software provider, powering gaming operators in regulated gambling markets across the globe, Huddle, announced a new senior-level appointment.

Reaffirming its dedication to growth and expansion, the company hired Iain Hutchison, the former Digitain and Genius Sports executive, for the role of SVP of Business Development.

The new SVP of Business Development brings significant experience

Announced Monday, the latest appointment sees a seasoned executive join Huddle.

Ultimately, the new SVP of Business Development is expected to play a major role in the company's future expansion and development.

Per Huddle's announcement, Hutchison will spearhead the company's commercial ambitions going forward and oversee a range of important growth processes.

The senior-level appointment comes after last week, Hutchison confirmed his transition to a non-executive role at Digitain, the leading iGaming software provider renowned for its cutting-edge solutions, powering online, mobile and land-based gambling operators.

Prior to assuming the role of non-executive director, Hutchison held the role of Chief Revenue Officer for three years.

"After an incredible chapter serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Digitain, I am proud to transition into a Non-Executive role — marking a new beginning that allows me to continue supporting the company’s long-term vision while contributing at a strategic level," the executive explained in a post via LinkedIn.

Prior to his time at Digitain, Hutchison was employed by the globally recognizable solutions and technology provider, Genius Sports, for more than a decade.

Starting as a Sales Director in September 2005, he held the role for six years, before being elevated to a Commercial Director position in October 2011.

Then, Hutchison spent nine years in that position, accumulating significant skills and knowledge.

After the Commercial Director role, in February 2017, he assumed the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), which he held until October 2020.
