The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) has announced a fresh partnership with Mindway AI, a company that leverages neuroscience, expert analysis, and artificial intelligence to help operators and regulators gain a better understanding of problem gambling markers, and offer real-time input into player behavior that may be suggestive of harm or addictive patterns
The Greek gambling watchdog will now feature the Gamalyze tool by Mindway AI and allow players to analyze their behavior in real time through the self-test game that the company has developed. The tool is available on the regulator’s official website and is free for players to try.
Gamalyze is ultimately designed to elevate player protection and provide players as well as operators and regulators with insight into their behavior and what risk markers to look out for.
Ultimately, the tool leverages groundbreaking research and innovation to create a full picture of what patterns constitute harmful gambling practices and also trigger early notification that can help keep players safe and steer them away from bad habits or further spiraling into gambling-related harm.
More importantly, Mindway AI also offers self-awareness through the introduction of its tool that lets players test themselves in an environment that is very similar to their usual gambling, but one that nevertheless provides insights into how they interact with gambling.
HGC President Dimitrios Ntzanatos has hailed the opportunity to introduce this new tool and solution to the regulator’s website:
"Working with the Hellenic Gaming Commission exemplifies the impact of international cooperation in elevating standards across the gaming industry. We are excited to see Gamalyze empowering players in Greece and enhancing the HGC's efforts in promoting responsible gambling."
Gamalyze helps not only evaluate a player’s behavior but also offers real-time and crucial feedback into that behavior, helping players learn about their sensitivity to risk and reward as well as offer advice that empowers players to better understand and manage their time spend gambling.
The fact that Gamalyze is a self-test tool is also important, as the widget is designed to further enhance how players interact with this type of tool in the first place, reinventing the traditional self-test tool and feeding highly personalized and relevant cues back to players so that they can examine and make decisions based on.
Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard was similarly excited about this opportunity and hailed the gambling regulator’s decision to team up with the company to provide this solution to players in the country.
"We are excited to see Gamalyze empowering players in Greece and enhancing the HGC's efforts in promoting responsible gambling," Kjaergaard said. Mindway AI is one of the cutting-edge companies in the sector that leverage advanced technological and scientific methods to strengthen self-awareness and improve player behavior.
Mindway AI has won the Casino Guru Awards in the Best Implementation of RG Tools category in 2024, and the company is back for this year’s edition of the event as well.
