In less than two months, devastating storms in several US states displaced millions of people.

Hurricanes Helene and Milton impacted parts of Florida, Tennessee and the Carolinas, bringing hardship to many.

In light of the catastrophic storms, the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Hard Rock International (HRI) announced a million-dollar donation to two globally recognized organizations.

American Red Cross, World Central Kitchen receive a $1m donation

Earlier this week, HRI and the Seminole Tribe confirmed their $1,000,000 commitment to the American Red Cross and World Central Kitchen.

The generous donation is expected to help with the immediate recovery of communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

At the same time, the $1m donation will help with the rebuilding process of affected communities in several different states.

A statement reveals that the check for the donation would be presented during an invite-only ceremony taking place later this month at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

Guests and representatives of HRI, the Seminole Tribe, the American Red Cross and World Central Kitchen will participate in the upcoming formal event.

Besides the million-dollar donation, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa helped people seeking refuge by opening the doors of its Event Center which was turned into a state-designated shelter.

There, individuals and families impacted by the devastating weather conditions can find shelter, medical aid and food.

At the venue's Event Center, a mobile kitchen was established by World Central Kitchen.

This mobile kitchen helped deliver more than 700 meals to people displaced during the devastating hurricanes.

In addition to the aforementioned efforts, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has already delivered more than 1,000 meals to different shelters across Tampa.

HRI and Seminole Gaming will continue to help people recover from the devastating storms

Jim Allen, HRI's Chairman and CEO of Seminole Gaming, spoke about the importance of helping people displaced during the catastrophic storms.

"Opening our doors to displaced families in Tampa and providing financial support is just the beginning of our ongoing commitment to the recovery efforts," he revealed.

Moreover, Allen added: "We are very grateful for the incredible work our partners at World Central Kitchen and American Red Cross do across the globe."

Marcellus Osceola Jr., the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Chairman, added that helping communities during difficult times is an ongoing commitment of the Tribe.

"We'd like to thank Governor Ron DeSantis for his partnership in uplifting our communities at this critical time," added Osceola Jr.

Last but not least, the executive explained that the combined efforts will ultimately bring meaningful change to individuals and communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
