Hacksaw Gaming, a leading and respected developer of innovative iGaming content, has strengthened its presence in Ontario, Canada, with the company teaming up with BetMGM. This new partnership is intended at enhancing the supplier’s presence in the local market through a tie-up with a trusted and regulated operator in the face of BetMGM.
Ontario is hailed as the largest iGaming market in North America, with suppliers and operators fully aware of the opportunity that invites. Hacksaw Gaming will benefit from the agreement and provide BetMGM with many player-favorite and innovative titles, such as Wanted Dead or a Wild, and R.I.P. City. The games are already available with BetMGM’s Ontario platform, and the two will seek to introduce more games over the coming months.
This comes at a particularly auspicious time for Hacksaw Gaming as a supplier of innovative content. Apart from strengthening its presence in the regulated market in Ontario, the company has been similarly able to grow its presence back in Europe, with the company gaining a supplier license from Spelinspektionen, Sweden’s national iGaming operator.
Commenting on this opportunity, Gabrielle Star, CCO at Hacksaw Gaming, said that the company was super excited to have had the opportunity to work with BetMGM. Bringing innovative iGaming content to BetMGM would allow Hacksaw to clearly enhance its own presence in the province, Star noted, while also giving BetMGM a boost with its own player bases in Ontario.
"We continue to aim high with plans to expand into even more regulated territories as part of our overarching global strategy this year and beyond," Star concluded. Hacksaw Gaming teamed up with William Hill earlier this year to introduce a bespoke game developed for the operator and brand.
The new game was introduced as part of the Dare2Win vertical and was a Mines game that had the William Hill branding and imagery written all over it. Hacksaw has been on a tear marching forward with various expansion moves over the last months, amongst which is a deal with StarCasinò and 888 in Italy.
Last year, Hacksaw Gaming similarly broke ground in the United States, obtaining a supplier license in West Virginia. The latest pivot towards the regulated market in Ontario and with a prominent brand such as BetMGM will certainly give the company a much-needed boost in the North American market.
