The leading B2B iGaming technology company, offering premium services, solutions and products to online gambling operators across the globe, GiG, continues to grow its North American presence.
On Wednesday, the company announced a new alliance with River Cree Resort and Casino.
Recognized as one of Canada’s premier entertainment, hospitality and gaming destinations, River Cree Resort and Casino has established a strong presence and has a growing player base.
Under the new alliance, the resort and casino, owned by the Enoch Cree Nation, will unlock a range of benefits from using GiG’s innovative technology.
The deal sees GiG provide River Cree Resort and Casino access to its full end-to-end technology ecosystem, powering the operator’s expansion into Alberta’s newly regulated online gambling market.
As a result, GiG will power the premium resort and casino’s iGaming platform, online sportsbook, as well as casino operations.
River Cree Resort and Casino will also enhance its mobile app and tap into omnichannel solutions and custom front-end features provided by GiG.
Vik Mahajan, River Cree Resort and Casino’s CEO, discussed the new agreement with GiG, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"River Cree has always led the market in gaming and entertainment," the executive said.
"Expanding into Alberta’s regulated online market is the next evolution in delivering exceptional experiences, wherever our guests choose to play. With GiG’s industry-leading technology behind us, we’re building a best-in-class online experience," Mahajan said in conclusion.
The online gambling market in Alberta represents one of the most compelling growth opportunities for iGaming operators in North America.
Analysts predict the market in the province may generate between €440m and €625m in annual gross gaming revenue once it matures.
Seeking to capitalize on this market, River Cree Resort and Casino will expand its presence into the digital vertical, supported by GiG’s technology.
Notably, customers of the premier entertainment, hospitality and gaming destination will be able to seamlessly transition from land-based gambling activities to digital, while accessing personalized gaming experiences.
Richard Carter, GiG’s CEO, revealed the company is delighted to join forces with River Cree Resort and Casino and the Enoch Cree Nation as they plan their entry into the iGaming market in Alberta.
"As the fifth brand that GiG is supporting in Alberta, this landmark partnership underscores our strong momentum and growing operational footprint across the province," he added.
"Our full-turnkey solution and powerful Data and Logic engines are designed specifically to support established operators in bridging the gap between land-based and digital operations," Carter said in conclusion.
