The owner and operator of Resorts World Las Vegas, the leading integrated resort offering a range of gambling, entertainment and hospitality options, Resorts World Las Vegas LLC, strengthened its senior-level team with a new appointment.
Earlier this week, the company announced the appointment of Brian Sandoval, an executive with a track record and former Nevada Governor, to its Board of Directors, Casino Guru News learned from a press release
Joining the Board, Sandoval will now rub shoulders with A.G. Burnet, Tan Kong Han, as well as Michelle DiTondo and the company's Board Chairman, Jim Murren.
The recent appointment signals Resorts World Las Vegas' intention to strengthen its senior-level team and deepen its leadership structure.
Murren commented on the latest appointment saying: "The Board and I recognize the unique position Resorts World Las Vegas holds at the north end of the Strip, a crown jewel of Vegas that is bursting with potential."
The Board's Chairman added: "To fully capitalize on our vision, we need strong leaders to help us build and drive progress."
Last but not least, Murren pointed to Sandoval's extensive expertise, energy and skills, predicting that he will help take Resorts World Las Vegas to a new level.
Sandoval was similarly thrilled to join the C-suite at Resorts World Las Vegas.
"I am honored to join the Board at Resorts World Las Vegas and contribute to the strong foundation they have built," he explained.
The former Nevada Governor acknowledged the company's dedication to delivering unrivaled guest experiences.
Finally, Sandoval said: "I look forward to working with the team to drive continued success and innovation, ensuring unforgettable moments for all who visit."
Alex Dixon, Resorts World Las Vegas' CEO, added that it is delightful to see an expert of Sandoval's rank joining the company's Board.
The CEO pointed to the former Governor's track record, extensive experience and solid knowledge in gaming and regulatory verticals.
Dixon added that Resorts World Las Vegas is working forward to the success the collaboration with Sandoval will bring.
Throughout his extensive tenure, Sandoval served as a Governor of Nevada between 2011 and 2019.
During that time, he paved the way for the state's education reform, helping deliver economic growth and innovation.
Besides serving as the 30th Governor of Nevada, Sandoval held other important senior-level roles, including Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, Attorney General of Nevada and Federal Court Judge.
Undoubtedly, this extensive experience is going to help the executive in his new role as a part of Resorts World Las Vegas' Board of Directors.
