Fanatics launches sportsbook for customers in Iowa

The fast-growing online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings Inc., Fanatics Betting and Gaming, entered the sports betting vertical in the United States in 2021. Expanding its US-facing presence, Fanatics Betting and Gaming announced the acquisition of PointsBet's US business assets back in August 2023.

Now, as a part of that process, Fanatics confirmed the launch of its sports betting application for customers in Iowa, allowing PointsBet customers' accounts, including username, rewards points, responsible gaming settings and account balance to be automatically migrated to the Fanatics Sportsbook.

The launch in Iowa grows further Fanatics' presence in the country. In fact, it represents the twelfth state launch for the fast-growing betting operator that seeks to disrupt the vertical by offering supreme and engaging experiences, a statement reveals.

Thanks to the launch, visitors and residents of Iowa can now download Fanatics Sportsbook. The application is available for Android and iOS devices, offering an easy and fast signup process. Moreover, the sportsbook brings a plethora of features such as a range of deposit and withdrawal methods and easy wagering options.

Besides the launch of Fanatics Sportsbook in Iowa, the company confirmed that the retail sportsbook at Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington will start its transition from PointsBet to Fanatics Sportsbook. Fanatics confirmed that it will install new self-service betting kiosks catering to visitors to the sportsbook. Yet, the company added that the sportsbook will keep its upscale lounge layout, offering entertaining experiences for visitors thanks to an odds display wall, sports bar, slots and a multiscreen video wall.

The launch of Fanatics Sportsbook brings a number of engaging features for Iowa customers. Thanks to the application's search functionality, bettors and sports fans alike can easily find different competitions, benefit from autocomplete and search via alias. "Customers can search easily for the bet they want and bet directly right from the search results," explained Fanatics.

Additionally, Fanatics Sportsbook offers a Discover feed. This feature allows its customers to find different popular bets, access statistics, as well as marquee games and tap directly into the action without delays.

Another key feature offered by Fanatics Sportsbook is FanCash, the operator's rewards program that allows its customers to earn up to 5% of their wagers in FanCash. Users can earn 1% FanCash for their odds boosts and straight bets, as well as 3% on their parlay bets. Additionally, Fanatics' customers can also earn 5% FanCash on their Same Game Parlay wagers.
