The innovative sports betting platform, CopyBet, strengthened its integrity monitoring capabilities in the UK and across the globe by becoming the latest company to join the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), the global integrity leader for the licensed betting industry.
CopyBet has a growing presence in a range of regulated gambling markets.
Currently, the company operates under a license from the UK Gambling Commission and a Class B bookmaker's license in Cyprus.
The unique platform enables customers to easily copy bets from leading tipsters.
CopyBet is currently the official front-of-shirt partner of AEK Larnaca, Enosis Neon Paralimni, PAC Omonia 29M and Aris Limassol in the Cyprus First Division.
The company also sponsors the Queens Park Rangers Football Club in the EFL as an official front-of-shirt partner.
Joining IBIA, CopyBet will share its online betting integrity data with the Association.
This complements IBIA's global monitoring network, allowing it to scrutinize betting activities and uncover potential fraud attempts and suspicious bets.
More than 140 betting brands and 80 companies across the globe support IBIA's integrity efforts in monitoring an excess of $300bn in betting turnover annually.
In October, IBIA announced the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) had joined its cause to combat match-fixing.
At the time, the duo signed a memorandum of understanding that covers a four-year period.
Khalid Ali, IBIA's CEO, revealed that the Association is delighted to welcome CopyBet to its growing list of members.
"This partnership strengthens our global monitoring network and reinforces our shared commitment to protecting the integrity of sport and regulated betting markets," he added.
Finally, Ali said: "We look forward to working closely with CopyBet to detect and deter betting-related corruption and to protect the integrity of the markets offered to consumers."
Anton Ivanov, CopyBet UK's Business Development Director, was similarly excited about the latest announcement.
He spoke about the importance of responsible gambling and taking care of the company's customers.
Ivanov added that CopyBet's membership with IBIA complements those goals and enables the company to continue to provide "safe gambling conditions" for its growing customer base.
Finally, the executive said: "We look forward to working with IBIA and support its mission of protecting the integrity of the industry."
CopyBet was founded nearly 10 years ago in 2016. Since then, the company has grown significantly, delivering unique sports betting options and automated copy betting features.
