Carla Maree Vella joins Neatplay as Chief Executive Officer

The company famous for distributing prime gaming technology services and solutions to help iGaming brands, Neatplay Ltd, announced a senior-level appointment. On Thursday, the company revealed it hired the services of Carla Maree Vella. She joins the company as its CEO, amid plans for further expansion and global growth.

As a part of Neatplay, Vella will oversee the company's financial performance. Moreover, she will provide strategic guidance for Neatplay and spearhead its expansion strategy.

Ultimately, with Vella as CEO, Neatplay seeks to become a go-to venture builder, as well as an operational and technical partner for entrepreneurs that are planning into expanding into the iGaming vertical. Additionally, the company plans to become the prime service provider for iGaming operators interested in expanding to new markets.

Overall, Vella brings an extensive experience within the iGaming vertical having spent more than a decade with different companies operating within the sector. She has experience with B2B and B2C operations, as well as a track record as a leader, innovator and entrepreneur.

Before joining Neatplay, Vella was a CMO at betPawa. Her professional background includes experience as a Board Member with Scout Gaming Group, a leading B2B betting and fantasy sports provider. Moreover, Vella held the position of CEO with the leading tech and iGaming venture capitalist, Optimizer Invest.

For nearly three years, she was also a part of the Betsson Group. During her tenure with the company, Vella held the position of Head of Marketing Operations, as well as Managing Director of Betsson.com. At the time, she spearheaded processes related to the operator's real money gambling operations within Latin American and European markets.

Vella's professional background includes positions with OTTO Malta Limited as an Online Marketing Manager, as well as Uniblue Systems LT where she held the role of Affiliate Account Manager.
