The famous casino-entertainment company, Caesars Entertainment, announced that its leading Caesars Sportsbook is now live in the state of Ohio. Last week, the company revealed that Caesars Sportsbook is live for desktop, as well as mobile devices with Android and iOS. As a result, customers can now register and deposit funds.
The recent announcement comes ahead of the long-anticipated launch of sports betting in Ohio. Lawmakers in the state legalized sports betting last year in December and the official launch is now expected as soon as January 1, 2023.
Celebrating its Ohio entry, Caesars Sportsbook unveiled a special sign-up promotion for first-time customers in the state. Sports fans that are interested in the promotion can download the sportsbook and register by entering promotional code CZR1H. When depositing at least $20 before January 1, 2023, bettors will receive a $100 bet credit, that is available for the day sports betting goes live in Ohio.
Thanks to the recent introduction of Caesars Sportsbook in Ohio, customers in the state will soon have the option to access the company's leading experiences and rewards via Caesars Rewards. Users of the Caesars Sportsbook will have the option to collect Tier Credits and Rewards Credits that can be exchanged for unique Caesars Rewards experiences such as getaways and bonus cash, among other lucrative options.
What's more, Caesars is currently the Cleveland Cavaliers' Official Sports Betting Partner. Once the sportsbook launches in Ohio, this will bring fans of the team new activations, rewards, merchandise and money-can't-buy experiences. In addition to being the Cavs' Official Sports Betting Partner, Caesars is also the team's Official Casino Partner.
Through its collaboration with the Cavs, Caesars is also planning to introduce a new best-in-class retail sportsbook. The location of the retail outlet will be the street level on the Northwest Atrium area near the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, a multi-purpose arena located in Cleveland, Ohio. This new retail outlet will mark the third such location for Caesars. Previously, the leading operator opened similar retail venues at Chase Field in Arizona and Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
A secondary location is also expected to open for visitors once the state launches legalized sports betting. A new state-of-the-art Caesars Sportsbook location is planned to open doors at Ohio's popular racino, Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Columbus.
Eric Hession, Caesars Digital's President, commented on the topic: "Ohio's rich tradition of sports excellence speaks for itself." Last but not least, he pointed out: "Caesars Sportsbook is ready to match the pedigree and passion of Ohio sports fans with a sports wagering experience that treats them like royalty."
