BSG Awards 2023 recognize Wazdan as Best Nordic Slot Provider

The innovative and fast-growing provider of games, Wazdan, was recognized by the prestigious Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards (BSG Awards). The company has announced that it was selected as Best Slot Provider in The Nordics during this year's edition of the Awards.

To secure the awards, players from eligible countries voted for companies within different categories earlier this year. Then, a jury voted for the final results, recognizing some of the best companies within the gambling vertical for the region. Wazdan attended the prestigious in-person event which was a part of the leading industry conference the Mare Balticum Gaming and Tech Summit.

In a statement, Wazdan's Chief Commercial Officer, Andrzej Hyla, shared his excitement saying: "Being named Best Nordic Slot Provider at this year's BSG Awards is a testament to the hard work and continued commitment of our incredible team at Wazdan."

The prestigious BSG Award recognizes Wazdan for its games that stand out with innovative technology. The announcement comes after recently, Wazdan confirmed it was shortlisted in eight categories within the upcoming Women in Gaming Diversity Awards. The prestigious event that recognizes companies for their devotion to enhancing diversity, equality and inclusion is planned to take place at The Savoy Hotel in London, UK on June 8, 2023.

At a glamorous ceremony, the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards will recognize the companies who have put the most effort into equity, diversity and inclusion, a vertical that enjoys strong support from many globally-recognized companies not only from the gambling industry but in many other industries.

Before that, earlier this month, Wazdan forged an important deal with 8888.bg, a leading Bulgarian gambling operator. Thanks to that partnership, Wazdan expanded further the reach of its content in Bulgaria by delivering its leading games for the operator.

This marked an important partnership for the company as it expanded its footprint not only in the country but within the Balkan region as well. What's more 8888.bg was the fifth Bulgarian-based operator the company has joined forces with.
