Brightstar Lottery inks eight-year deal with the Missouri Lottery

The innovative provider of content, technology and products for lotteries across the globe, Brightstar Lottery, agreed to modernize retail and digital solutions for the Missouri Lottery.

The process is going to be completed with the deployment of the former's fully-integrated lottery solution, OMNIA.

The Missouri Lottery enhances customer experience

Per the new contract, valid for eight years, Brightstar Lottery will power the Missouri Lottery's retail and digital offering.

Besides the deployment of OMNIA, Brightstar Lottery agreed to deliver its second-chance promotions and loyalty program, Connected Play.

As a result, the Missouri Lottery will bolster its digital program with the delivery of special loyalty options and second-chance promotions.

The new eight-year contract includes the delivery of new and innovative retail equipment from Brightstar Lottery.

The company will roll out its enhanced communication network and equipment, including 5,250 Retailer Pro S2s, 250 GameTouch Draws, 2,220 GameTouch 28s, 1,250 Digital Menu Boards and 75 GameTouch 20s.

Ultimately, the delivery of such innovative technology is expected to positively impact on customer engagement.

At the same time, the Missouri Lottery is expected to strengthen its operations by offering versatility, reliability, as well as convenience on a scale.

Recently, Brightstar Lottery confirmed the finalization of the divestment of its Gaming & Digital business.

The sale resulted in approximately $4.0bn in net cash proceeds, of which the company said it plans to use $2.0bn for debt reduction and return $1.1bn to shareholders.

The agreement brings excitement to the Missouri Lottery and Brightstar

Focusing on the latest strategic contract, Scott Gunn, Brightstar Lottery's Chief Operating Officer North America Lottery, shared his excitement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Brightstar is honored to support the Missouri Lottery as it embraces the evolving lottery landscape and implements innovative solutions that will increase flexibility to manage its operations and engage players in new ways," the executive explained.

Finally, Gunn pointed out: "We look forward to delivering these high-performing solutions, while helping the Lottery achieve its goals of maximizing funds to education."

Lester Elder, the Missouri Lottery's Executive Director, spoke about the long-term agreement between the Lottery and Brightstar, which dates back more than three decades.

According to the executive, this long-term collaboration helped contribute more than $8.5bn to public education across Missouri.

Finally, Elder said: "We are excited to build upon this long-term partnership over the course of the next eight years and deliver new, premier experiences for our players."
