Booming Games clears B2B entry in Romania

Booming Games has become the latest supplier to claim a B2B license in the burgeoning Romanian iGaming market, with the company now able to offer its portfolio of titles locally, and through a permit obtained by the Oficiul National Pentru Jocuri De Noroc (ONJN).

This new license will allow Booming Games to grow its footprint significantly and introduce many of its games to the market locally. Those include Burning Classics, Cash Pig, Buffalo Hold and Win, Gold Gold Gold, and TNT Bonanza.

Booming Games CCO Frederik Niehusen has welcomed this opportunity and said that the company was very happy to obtain the license in the Romanian market.

"This exciting development allows us to expand our presence in the rapidly growing Romanian market. With this achievement, we're well-equipped to build on our strengths and enhance our product offerings to better serve the needs of our customers," Niehusen said.

Booming Games has secured several prominent licenses in similar moves over the past months, moving on to Peru, among other nations, and obtaining the necessary licenses to operate as a regulated iGaming provider in the market.

The company similarly entered the Portuguese market, receiving the go-ahead from the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos Turismo de Portugal, the country’s gambling authority and regulator.

The supplier has been on a tear this year, as it also expanded in Africa with BetFounders, and not least, it drove a foray into the Danish iGaming market.
