Booming Games makes entry into Portugal

Booming Games has become the latest supplier of iGaming products to secure an entry into the Portuguese market with the company receiving the go-ahead from the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos Turismo de Portugal, the country’s gambling authority and regulator.

Thanks to this move, Booming Games is expected to bring a ton of its excellent games to local operators in Portugal. Among the titles that are considered part of the company’s signature are Buffalo Hold and Win, Cash Pig, Gold Gold Gold, TNT Bonanza, Space Cows to the Moo’n, and more.

These titles are designed to meet specific and diverse player preferences and introduce audiences to exciting games that have been developed with a specific focus on their taste. Booming Games will deliver even more high-performing titles in the local market in Portugal, hoping to establish a strong footprint that is designed to help the company grow steadily.

Booming Games Chief Commercial Officer Frederik Niehusen has welcomed this new opportunity for his company, arguing that ensuring a license in Portugal was indeed a pivotal moment for the brand.

"We look forward to leveraging this achievement to drive sustained growth and deliver gaming experiences to players across Portugal. 2024 is an exciting year for us, and we will deliver more updates shortly," Niehusen said, teasing an imminent launch with partner operators.

Booming Games has been growing its geographical footprint worldwide at a good clip, having secured more market entries. The supplier recently established a presence in Peru, hailing the opportunity to push into the highly coveted Latin American market which is going to be an important focal point of many fellow suppliers’ efforts.

Similarly, Booming Games has also sought to expand in Ontario with a B2B license, enabling it to bring its titles to one of the hottest iGaming markets in North America. Market expansions have been part of the company’s very DNA with another prominent rollout happening in Denmark with RoyalCasino.
