The leading supplier of high-performing table, slot and interactive products, AGS, announced a new senior-level appointment. The company confirmed last week that it hired Robert "Bob" Blair, an expert with solid experience in patent and corporate legal affairs. Joining AGS, he was appointed to the role of Deputy General Counsel, a position that comes into effect immediately, a statement released by the company reveals.

Currently, Blair holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law. Additionally, he has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Reno, Nevada. Blair's professional background includes an Associate General Counsel of Intellectual Property role at the leading gaming company, International Game Technology (IGT). Overall, he was a part of IGT for four years.

What's more, Blair served as Vice President of Patents at the publicly traded intellectual property company that focuses on the mobile sector, Unwired Planet. Rob Ziems, AGS' Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, shared his excitement saying: "Bob is an exceptional legal mind who is a valuable addition to the AGS leadership team." Last but not least, Ziems commented: "With his extensive knowledge and experience on corporate legal affairs and patent matters, Bob will be a key player in protecting and advancing our business and our brand as AGS continues to capitalize on many growth opportunities ahead."

Before becoming a part of the C-suite at AGS, Blair held an important role with the leading gaming company, Azure Gaming America. He was a part of the C-suite of the company for more than five years and during that time, held important roles such as Global Senior IP Counsel, Global Deputy General Counsel and Global General Counsel.

Founded nearly two decades ago, AGS is currently known as a global gaming company that focuses on delivering thrilling entertainment and experiences for a wide range of players.
