BetMGM introduces Dragon Train games to the US

Dragon Train is finally making landfall in the North American market, through a tie-up between Light & Wonder and BetMGM, a prominent supplier and operator respectively. The partnership will see the iconic Dragon Train franchise, and numerous variations of the game launch across BetMGM Casino, the brand’s digital platform, in New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.

From Australian gaming floors to US online casino shopping windows

The titles that are covered by this partnership include Dragon Train – Chi Lin Wins, Dragon Train – Khutulun Battle Princess, Dragon Train – Sun Shots, and Dragon Train – Forever Emperor. The franchise has already proven a success in other markets, including its stomping ground in Australia, and is now taking to the digital sector in the United States, and hopefully beyond.

BetMGM VP of Gaming Product & Content Oliver Bartlett has welcomed the opportunity to see the games arrive in the US market for the very first time and introduce local players to some of the most innovative and out-of-the-box slot games available.

The games were only available as physical slot machines in Australia but they are getting the digital treatment to make a bigger splash in the North American market.

"The game’s incredible performance in Australia set a high standard and we are confident that Light & Wonder has created a game that will captivate players online and on U.S. casino floors," Bartlett explained.

As to the franchise itself, it’s based on a 5x3 reel with players vying for the opportunity to strike gold through one of three jackpots – Fortune 8, Grand, and Major. The game also includes the Hold & Spin feature, a Light & Wonder original, that allows players to further enjoy the slot and explore other opportunities to win.

The title similarly features other innovative elements, such as Sticky Reels and Cash Cluster. The weekend will be busy as Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will also feature several promotions in the following days to build up excitement for the popular slot.

Commenting on this opportunity, Borgata VP of Casino Operations James Bruno said that he was excited to welcome the Dragon Train games to the casino’s expanding portfolio, adding to what he already hailed as "top-notch entertainment."
