  • MGM Resorts has teamed up with BetBlocker to boost RG efforts
  • BetBlocker will be featured on casino screens across 16 MGM Resorts properties
  • The goal is to strengthen players' access to self-exclusion and responsible tools

MGM Resorts International and BetBlocker have signed a new partnership in a bid to strengthen responsible gambling and player protection, as confirmed by Pedro Romero, BetBlocker Chief of Safer Gambling Partnerships.

As a result of the partnership, BetBlocker will be part of the MGM casino screens and will be featured prominently on the responsible gambling resources page. The goal is to raise awareness while providing free and anonymous blocking support for players who may be struggling to keep their gambling under control.

"This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to making safer gambling tools accessible, visible, and stigma-free, ensuring that help is always within reach," Romero said.

BetBlocker will receive 13 hours of promotional time daily across 16 dedicated MGM Resorts properties. BetBlocker has been working hard on ensuring that it makes it easy for players who may be experiencing gambling-related distress to get onboarded.

Previously, BetBlocker teamed up with the Responsible Online Gaming Association (ROGA), of which BetMGM is also a member. Similarly, Casino Guru and BetBlocker partnered up to localize the self-blocking tool in Finnish.
