AstroPay introduces VISA debit card for European customers

The online payment provider offering modern alternative payment solutions, AstroPay, announced it launched a VISA debit card for its European consumers. The collaboration was announced Thursday and sees AstroPay expand its product offering and bring benefits to existing customers.

Thanks to the recent launch, European users of the company can now apply for a VISA debit card via AstroPay's application. AstroPay explained that the card is "issued instantly and can be used to make payments both online and in-store by using a pass-through wallet in the end."

The card can be used by users at any merchants that accept VISA as a payment method. This offers customers a safe, secure and simple payment solution in the European market, where VISA is already widely accepted as a payment method.

Without any doubt, the recent collaboration between VISA and AstroPay marks a strategic move for the payment solutions provider. In fact, the company revealed that besides Europe, VISA debit card would also launch in other markets in the upcoming months.

To achieve the launch with VISA, AstroPay joined forces with Wallester, the white label card issuer that offers solutions for financial institutions and companies. Teaming up with Wallester enabled services related to transaction processing for AstroPay customers that will use VISA.

In a statement released on June 23, 2022, Wallester's Technical Founder, Dmitri Logvinenko, said: "Wallester team is extremely excited that cooperation with AstroPay has become such a successful and valuable experience for both companies." He explained that the company is pleased to offer its services and meet the needs of AstroPay customers.

According to Logvinenko, thanks to the new collaboration, AstroPay customers will now be able to "make payments in a more convenient way, using effective solutions in practice." In conclusion, he revealed that Wallester is looking forward to the success the new collaboration with AstroPay will bring.

In conclusion, he said that using VISA will save the company's customers both time and effort to complete their transactions.
