The global gaming content and technology company, Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, announced a new senior-level appointment. The company confirmed it strengthened its C-suite with the addition of Matthew Primmer, a seasoned gaming executive with more than two decades of experience. Joining Aristocrat Leisure, he was appointed to the role of Chief Product Officer.
As a part of the company's senior-level team, Primmer will oversee a number of strategic processes. He will play an important role in the company's daily operations and will be based in its offices located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Taking on the role of Chief Product Officer at Aristocrat Leisure, Primmer will report directly to Aristocrat's Managing Director and CEO, Trevor Croker. As a part of the C-suite, the experienced gaming executive will join the company's Executive Steering Committee, bringing extensive knowledge and unique skills.
Overall, Primmer has more than two decades of experience within the global gambling industry. He was previously a part of Aristocrat for a decade. During that time, he held a number of important senior-level leadership positions, insights and product strategy roles with the company for the US market. Additionally, he held the Chief Product Officer role for Aristocrat Gaming for a total of four years, overseeing the operations of its Design & Development (D&D) team.
Primmer currently holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong. His professional experience includes senior-level roles at Ainsworth Game Technology as well as Shuffle Master.
In a statement, Trevor Croker, Aristocrat's CEO and Managing Director, shared his excitement about the latest appointment. He revealed that he is delighted to see an expert of Primmer's rank join the company's C-suite. "Over the past decade, Matt has made a strong contribution to building and extending Aristocrat Gaming’s global product leadership, fostering our outstanding creative and technical talent, championing D&D and placing customer needs at the center of our product strategy," added Croker.
Moreover, he pointed out that the latest senior-level hire sees a seasoned veteran with extensive experience join Aristocrat. "In his new role, Matt will help us maintain an enterprise view of product strategy as our business grows to encompass a broader range of product verticals, while also ensuring the most effective allocation of D&D investment," explained Croker in conclusion.
